The Difference Between 'Paris Hilton' and 'A Hilton Hotel' ?

Paris Hilton's 24-day term in the Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood, California, has come to an end. The multi-millionaire heiress was sentenced to 45 days for violating a driving ban. Her trial and subsequent incarceration was the subject of a media frenzy, and her release sparked a massive bidding war between American TV channels for an exclusive interview. She was also the inspiration for the Mio Destino 'Free Paris' and 'Jail Paris' protest panties. She stands to make millions from her jail term.

According to The Daily Telegraph, Paris was able to use a shower, exercise facilities, television and a telephone every day of her stay in a small private room in the LA facility. She also had all her mail brought to her each day, and, presumably, her bed sheets changed regularly and laundry services provided free of charge. The experience, she claims, has renewed her love for the simple life.

Some patrons of the Hilton London Euston might suppose that their experience staying at the hotel in Bloomsbury was similar to Paris's incarceration. Reviewers on tripadvisor.com complained that their rooms were "dirty", "the smallest in the world", "strangely shaped" with "shabby furniture"; the hotel was "noisy" with a "fungal, damp smell"; the food was "poor" and "grotty". One client even complained that "at 11.45 they turned the electricity off!" The only difference, it seems, was that Paris stayed in LA for free and stands to make millions for her memoirs, while those who stayed at the Hilton hotel had to pay an average of £206 per night with their memoirs online merely warning others not to stay there themselves.

Donations To Charity - Do We Need Them Today?

In the world we live in, donations charity has become a very important subject. Just look around: natural disasters, poverty, hunger and many life-threatening situations. This is exactly what we can see day after day on TV or even near us. In this context, it is no wonder that donations charity has become essential. Basically, any kind of financial help or consisting in various goods can help the underprivileged ones in a certain manner. And our duty is to contribute as much as we can for the benefit of the society and its individuals.

The facts are that donations charity, sustained by various organizations that fight for the ones in need, gather millions of dollars every year. This shows the fact that we have become more and more conscious and concerned regarding the problems that affect the people around us. While some of these organizations fight against poverty or hunger, others protect institutions that are affected by disasters. In addition, there are numerous donations charity associations that help the ones that lost their homes as a result of weather phenomenon. The fact is that there is a wide range of domains of high interest for these types of organizations.

Besides the variety of the purposes of such associations, their number seems to be increasing day by day. Even more, after each natural disaster, many organizations become interested and focused on helping the victims. These associations can be found all around the country, especially in the areas that have been affected by serious problems, be it the case of natural disasters or simply by poverty. In addition to the donations charity that is allocated to United States individuals, there are numerous organizations that try to help the unprivileged countries and to fight against the poverty in different parts of the world. Year after year, these associations gather numerous funds, but also donated autos ano other goods, from people all around the world, plus various types of goods, including clothing items and daily use items and offer them to the ones that can not afford them.

On the other hand, not all aspects of this field can be considered positive. Even if the main purpose of the donations charity is a noble one, the fact is that there are numerous misleading so called organizations that promise to allocate the goods or the funds to the ones in need, yet fail to do so. This is why; any donor is advised to opt for legitimate organizations that offer receipts for tax deductions. While there are numerous reputable associations out there, there are also high numbers of unscrupulous ones that do not conduct their activities based on the desire to help the others.

The main purpose of donations charity is to help the others rebuilt their lives. Whether we are talking about people who lost their homes, about the ones who have to fight financial difficulties, the gesture of donating is the one that matters. But the fact is that we all deal, even if occasionally, with financial problems and so, we tend to forget about the ones that are in real troubles that can be even considered life-threatening. The fact is that a donation does not need to be very substantial. Basically, donations charity can start from a couple of dollars to great sums of money. As long as we are considerate and willing to help, any amount is a step towards a better future. And this is all that matters.

How to Write a Quiz in 6 Easy Steps - Part 1

So you want to write a quiz, but you aren't sure how or where to begin? No problem! I'm going to show you a step-by-step formula that will make writing quizzes as easy as pie.

Step 1: Choose your topic.

Before you begin writing a quiz, you need to settle on a topic. What will be the subject of your quiz? You can write quizzes on just about anything. But you should never start until you know what your topic will be.

Got your hot topic? Good, let's move on to the next step.

TIP: Choose a topic that is "hot" and you'll generate lots of immediate interest.

Step 2: Determine the purpose.

Now that you know what you're going to write a quiz about, it's time to decide what the point of your quiz will be. What purpose will the quiz have? Is it to test the quizzer's knowledge about a certain subject? Will you help the quizzer determine if they are ready for something in particular?

Every quiz should have a purpose. If yours doesn't, then maybe you should start back at the beginning and choose a different topic. Do not move to the third step until you have a topic and purpose.

TIP: The purpose of your quiz should be to answer a specific question that your reader has.

Step 3: Decide what type of quiz to write.

As you already know, there are a variety of quizzes. Do you want to write a multiple choice quiz? Or maybe you want to write a True or False quiz. How about a quiz that allows the reader to answer on a sliding scale?

In addition to deciding what type of quiz you'll write, you need to determine how many questions your quiz should have. Most quizzes contain 5, 7, or 10 questions. If you're new at writing quizzes and still unsure, start with a 5-question quiz.

TIP: What type of quiz do you enjoy taking? Write that kind of quiz first.

Article Writing - How to Get Over Writer's Block and Write 20 Articles a Day

Article writing is not easy, I realize that. Some days I can write 20 articles and some days I only write 10 and then on another day, none at all.

My greatest regret in my online business is that I have not written twice as many articles as I have written. I believe with all my heart that my current income would be twice what it is if I had written twice as many articles up to this point.

But some days it is not easy.

I stare at a blank page, and wonder what to write.

Here is the technique I find works best for me.

I write a list of all the keywords I would like to write articles about. This might be a list of 200 or more.

I do this in word online so that I can edit easily.

Then I write one thing next to the keyword that I want to write an article about.

Now I have a list of 200 article topics.

Then I start at the top, and write 3 things I need to write about to do each topic justice.

Next, I go to the top of the list and start writing the articles. I can write 200 articles (enough for 10 days at 20 articles per day) with this list.

Do I get bored? Yes. Is it always easy? No.

But I just do it. I have to. Articles are the fuel for my profitable online business.

Paris Hilton Reveals NASA UFO Secrets (Sort Of)

Buzz Aldrin was scheduled for a phone interview on the Friday, June 8, 2007, edition of Your World with Neil Cavuto on the Fox News cable channel. Originally booked to talk about the latest space shuttle launch, he suddenly found himself being asked about Paris Hilton and had some very interesting things to say.

Friday, June 8, 2007, should have been a big news day. A former Preacher's Wife was sentenced to three years in prison for shooting her husband in the back while he slept. A Tax Protestor couple in New Hampshire discovered what happens when you challenge the authority of people you elect to office: You get state police and an army of federal troops with tanks and federal agents with submachine guns at your door. The space shuttle took off on a mission to support the International Space Station. It was announced that the current Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff was stepping down. East Coast air travel was practically brought to a stand still by a computer glitch.

None of those news pieces ended up being the biggest story of the day. Instead it was Paris (Hilton, not France). Yes, it apparently took Fox and other news gathering and reporting organizations eight hours to tell the tale of Naughty Paris and the Nasty Judge. It didn't seem to bother the news pundits that Paris was ordered back to jail to serve a forty-five day sentence for a probation violation, when other celebs have spent as little as five hours in jail for the same thing. I mean, give a gal a break! Don't billion dollar babies get an automatic pass? Regardless of how you feel about the Paris Affair, it may have paid off in an unusual way for UFO Researchers.

Buzz Aldrin was supposed to be talking about the latest Space Shuttle Mission. Imagine his surprise when the famous astronaut's guest spot was jammed into the middle of the never-ending discussion about Paris. An experienced media guest, Buzz is never at a loss for prefabricated words. Years ago I appeared on the Sally Jesse Raphael Show with him and a few other UFO Researchers. As long as you didn't ask him anything out of the ordinary, he had some terrific prepared responses. If you did, he stammered and stumbled. That's what happened on Your World with Neil Cavuto today around 1:30pm Arizona Time.

Asked to comment on how he felt about living in a world where Paris dominates the news for hours on end, he began by stammering on about some science fiction book he once wrote. The story was about a civilization that was going to be destroyed in exactly 140 years by a terrible calamity. He point was that everyone knew about it and did nothing until the very last minute. Huh? Like I said, not good without the prefab responses.

Buzz continued and finally made a lucid point. He apparently feels that we have lost our focus. Instead of worrying about how the Russians, Chinese and Japanese are slowly overtaking us in space research and exploration, we sensationalize and promote non-events like today's Paris debacle. Just as Your World was headed to a break, Aldrin reminisced about the days of the Apollo 11 Moon Mission and said, "Suppose Neal and I said, 'Look at what's outside of our window! It's a UFO!' Instead, we said, 'It's unusual to see a booster rocket outside of our window.' Think about what people would have said and what they would have done if we told them it was a UFO following us? That's what it was."

This was not Aldrin's first statement about UFO encounters during the Apollo 11 Mission. He appeared on a Science Channel program entitled, "First on the Moon: The Untold Story" in 2005 and made this unusual observation: "There was something out there that, uh, was close enough to be observed and what could it be? Mike (Collins) decided he thought he could see it in the telescope and he was able to do that and when it was in one position, that had a series of ellipses, but when you made it real sharp it was sort of L shaped. That didn't tell us very much."

While interesting, it was carefully worded and left the door open to various interpretations. Compare that to the statement he made today, "Think about what people would have said and what they would have done if we told them it was a UFO following us? That's what it was."

Throwing caution to the wind, Aldrin brings up two points that involve accusations UFO Researchers have made against NASA and the Government for years:

1. The U.S. Government is hiding information about UFOs for fear of public reaction to the affirmation that Aliens exist and are visiting our planet at will.

2. The U.S. Government knows all about UFOs and has the ability to identify them.

To my knowledge, Aldrin has hardly ever used the term, "UFO." Astronauts have avoided that term like the plague. Deke Slayton, an Astronaut and Chief of the Astronaut Office made this statement in 1976: "I don't recall any of our astronauts ever reporting UFOs." Why would he say that when there were already so many Astronaut sightings and UFO photos on record by then? Simple. They were already IDENTIFIED, not UNIDENTIFIED. And as far as word games go, the use of the term UFO by government or military personnel officially ended with the close of Project Bluebook (the official U.S. Government investigation into UFOs) in 1969.

As indicated by Buzz Aldrin's latest statement, NASA already knew how to recognize UFOs in 1969. Aldrin: "Think about what people would have said and what they would have done if we told them it was a UFO following us? That's what it was." However, Aldrin hasn't always been so forthcoming. I recall Aldrin's trademark Cheshire cat smile on the Sally Jesse Raphael Show anytime we asked about UFOs or Aliens. It was his preprogrammed defense mechanism. Anytime he's asked about UFOs during a television, cable or film interview, the smile pops up. Other times he'll substitute the smile with handy comments like, "It's a big universe" or "I guess someone else has to be out there," but it's still more than we ever hear from Neil Armstrong.

The world is still waiting to hear what the first man to walk on the moon has to say about what happened during the Apollo 11 Mission. Described as a deeply private and honest man, Armstrong has been virtually silent since returning to Earth except for a few interviews almost immediately after the mission. The question that has always bothered me is why?

The only sensible answer is that things happened on the Apollo 11 Moon Mission that Neil Armstrong doesn't want to talk about. It's likely that he would rather say nothing then lie to people, mislead them or deliver a series of NASA approved responses. It's impossible to say exactly what happened, but there is a decent body of evidence to indicate that it was anything but a routine flight.

During a time when the media was allowed to monitor most radio transmissions from the mission, odd noises and allegedly unknown languages were heard. Various statements regarding unknown objects and particular incidents were made by all three of the Apollo 11 Astronauts. Some photos taken during the mission appear to show a number of odd lights and strange objects in various positions near the moon.

Armstrong's overall lack of enthusiasm for press events brings up another question. Why would NASA choose a quiet guy like Neil Armstrong to be the first man to walk on the Moon? They had to know that everyone in the world would want to interview him for years to come. That could have been a major publicity boom for NASA; instead it turned into a bust that probably contributed to the eventual gutting of the Space Program. That leaves the door open for all kinds of speculation.

Whenever he's asked a question about something that Neil Armstrong said or did during the Apollo 11 Moon Mission, Buzz Aldrin always says, "You would have to ask Neil about that." We would love to Buzz, but he ain't talking! The best we can hope for is a final disclosure from Armstrong while he is alive or some kind of written or recorded statement left behind after he passes on. Now almost seventy-six years old, his last public appearance was at the White House in 2004 for the 35th Anniversary Celebration of the Moon Landing. As usual, he had little to say during that occasion.

On a day when all the news cameras were focused on a tearful Paris Hilton being dragged off to jail (again), Buzz Aldrin's latest statement was the real bombshell. But those precious few and very important words from Aldrin came about all because of the Hilton court date coverage. So I say, Thanks, Paris! I'll send a cake with a file in it and a Get out Of Jail Free Card from my children's Spongebob version Monopoly game if that will help. Can the Internet Replace the Perfume Counter?

There is something wonderful about buying perfume in a store. That is, until you find out that the store does not have the perfume you want. If you are a perfume devotee, that happens pretty quickly. There is no store that has all of the perfumes in the world. In fact, even large department stores offer only a small slice of the total fragrance universe.

Hello, Internet.

Fortunately, Internet shopping has made it possible for ordinary people to buy obscure perfumes, retro-scents, sample the wares of new boutique perfumeries, and even try scents from foreign countries.

There are some pitfalls to Internet shopping. First and uppermost in my mind is the fact that there are many fragrance sites online that are selling knock-offs and counterfeits. Sometimes, the site will disclose this but more often than not it is only evident in the price. If you want to buy one ounce of Chanel No. 5 perfume (the real thing), the price tag is $260. Granted, sometimes you'll find some warehouse type sites that knock a bit off of the price. But if you ever find Chanel No. 5 perfume at $50 an ounce, you've got a knock-off.

A knock-off is another company that manufactures a similar scent and packages it as "just like" something else. A counterfeit is a company that manufactures a similar scent and lies about it and represents it as the original scent. One is more unethical than the other, but neither one are good perfume.

Here's why. Quality perfume, like a gourmet dessert, is made of the best and purest ingredients. It's also made to excruciating standards. Most copycats are made of cheaper ingredients and tend to be more homemade products by a no-name company. Think of it this way: if those guys could really make perfume, wouldn't they be better off making a truly new fragrance than just ripping off an existing product?

To avoid knockoffs, go to reputable sites. If you know the company that makes the perfume, see if they sell the product from that website. For instance, you can buy Chanel No. 5 directly from http://www.chanel.com.

And there are sites that are even bigger, such as http://www.sephora.com and others that offer a wide range of original products.

For boutique perfumes, you almost assuredly have to find the site of the perfumery. Perfume people tend to be extroverts who like each other, so it may not be long before you're a friend as much as a client.

When buying online, you do not have the opportunity to test the perfume first. If you somehow get a chance to sample a scent, for instance, from a friend, you can make your own purchase with some confidence.

But what if you want to try a new perfume? How can you do that online? There are some sites that sell samples or small amounts of their product. If you are a regular customer of a large site like Sephora, you may find that they give samples with orders. (Don't expect samples as freebies; they are perks to people who are likely to order them.)

If you know a lot about perfume and are very bold by nature, you can buy perfume unsmelled. The best way to do this is to read a bit about the perfume. Most sites will describe scents, so you should know generally if you're getting a fruity-floral or an Oriental or a light boy-or-girl kind of scent. You cannot fairly describe a perfume just by that, but I have found that if you favor a particular fragrance family, you are usually safe when buying within that family, even if you don't have the opportunity to try a perfume in advance.

Another good way to shop for perfumes you can't smell first is to read reviews. A lot of websites and blogs review perfumes. Sometimes the reviews tell you more about the personality of the writer than the perfume. The best reviews are ones that describe the scent and its attributes rather than offer subjective opinions like, "I like this" or "I hated that." I'm sure there are perfectly reasonable people who hate Chanel No. 5 but that does not make it a bad perfume.

If you are very fond of all kinds of perfumes, it's pretty easy to buy perfume online. Service and reliability are great, prices are not exorbitant (including the ubiquitous shipping and handling) and you have a wider breadth of fragrance at your fingertips. Besides knowing what you like, you should know what types of fragrances to stay away from (maybe you hate anything too flowery or you dislike fragrances that go heavy on sandalwood). Just knowing these two groups of products will let you do pretty well for yourself.

And sometimes I find that perfumes that do not wow me with the first whiff from the bottle eventually become lifelong favorites. That's why I like taking the risk of buying untested perfumes. Sometimes the scents you would have never picked out for yourself turn out to be the very best ones for you.

Marketing Your New Web Site With Articles - Get Traffic And Credibility

You've created a brand new Web site. You hope that within a few days you'll get lots of traffic. But days pass into weeks, and then into months, and on a good day, three people visit your site. You've got a great site, but no traffic.

What's the traffic-building secret?

While there are dozens of ways you can market your new Web site to increase traffic, one marketing strategy stands out: article marketing. When you market your site with articles, you're providing free content for other sites to use, as long as they include your "resource box", with links back to your site. The more your articles are used on other sites, the more signposts you have to your site, and the more traffic you'll get.

Article marketing helps your site in another way: it builds trust and credibility for you. The search engines will rank you according to the amount of "trust" - links pointing to your site, that your site has. However, it's important that these links are relevant, that is, they're from sites which are on the same topic as your site. It's also vital that you gain some trusted links: links from sites with trust and longevity.

Therefore, as you continue to market your site with articles, soon your site develops lots of links, and lots of trust, all of which translates into traffic.

Develop An Article Marketing Plan For Never-ending Traffic

Your article marketing starts with a plan. The more articles you write and post on article directories, the more signposts point to your site, and the more trust you gain, so writing lots of articles is vital.

Unfortunately life gets in the way of our good intentions, unless you commit to article marketing with a plan. Decide how many articles you will write (or have someone else write) for your site over the next three months.

Both quality and quantity count. You need to aim to create quality article content: the higher the quality, the more sites will use your articles. However, one fantastic article a month is a slow way to build traffic.

Decide how many articles you'll write for your site per month, and schedule those articles, right now. Take half an hour to decide on article topics, and write the titles. Then get out your calendar, and schedule the articles.

Three months from today, you'll have traffic which increases daily, and article marketing will become your favorite Web site marketing method.

Article Writing for Beginners

A lot of marketing specialists would agree that article writing is one of the most potent if not the best advertising tool one can ever use in promoting his product. In fact, its utility has been widely used by so many products that have been marketed and launched. Apart from its being inexpensive, article writing has this flexibility to adapt itself in all forms of media marketing. While creating an article is relatively elementary for other people, there are still a few people who are lost in the darkness as to how article writing should be perfected.

 When given a topic to write about, equip yourself with the knowledge it requires before engaging into writing it. Your purpose on writing an article is to make people keep informed about a specific topic. Now, if you, yourself is unaware or less knowledgeable about the topic, you cannot expect to be producing a widely accepted article material. To prepare for this, do an extensive research!

 Plan your article before the actual writing. A good writer's skill is outlining. Outline what you want to write more so when you are a bit apprehensive about the topic that you are writing. Or at times even if you have the expertise about the topic, it is still best to do an outline because it does not let you miss out any detail of the topic.

 When in actual writing, focus yourself into creating an attractive, catchy headline. This is important because the subject or the headline is the first thing that readers look into. It is where writers actually catch the attention of its readers. Therefore, it is must that you come up with a better subject line first before focusing on the body or content of the article material.

Paris Hilton - Is She All Fake?

One can never be so fake nor can she always be true. Persons have to wear masks at any given moment and you may find her lying or saying the truth. But sometimes, because of the consistency of not telling the truth, people are pushed behind the walls to believe that nothing true will ever come out of that person's mouth. On the other hand, while she may, in fact, be telling the truth, it will be harder to believe each time since there is actually no real, consistent record for such.

Now, is Paris Hilton a complete fake? She may be superficial but that doesn't necessarily and absolutely mean that she is everything but real.

Okay, let's start with how much she's worth. By the dollars, she's probably worth somewhere between $20 million up to $30, but don't ask me where I have taken that figure because we can't exactly know for sure. That was just a rough estimate. Nonetheless, even with $10 million, it would be easy for someone to buy his or her forgiveness or at least buy her own way in to publicity. She has everything at her disposal, this is why it is easy for her to get all the attention she needs, which apparently is one of the main things she would die for in this world.

She is the daughter of Conrad Hilton, who's father is the real hotel magnate who for some reason or another, did not bother to leave his last will and testament to his children. The money that she inherits from his parents makes her an indispensable heiress to their properties.

Maybe we cannot blame her for what she made herself to be despite all her wealth she had since birth. Because spoilage leads nowhere but to the spoilage of character, if there is anything left to spoil and the corruption of thinking including morality and basic perspectives on things. But, she may be blamed for the great parts she had played, along with her publicists, on what the Americans and the world see in her.

But not all heiresses to great fortune are like her of course. There are those who make great exceptions, like the royalties of the England themselves. They remained to be classy and honorable despite of the fact that many tragically crippling incidents have already passed through their lives. While some parts of their private lives have been exposed to the public, with the help of the paparazzi of course, they still have the respect from the public itself. But Paris Hilton has none and she is not really worth comparing to these schooled royalties who do not spoil their little ones.

Further, let us take the best example of Ivanka Trump, the daughter of Donald Trump and Ivana Trump. She is a Czech-American businesswoman and fashion model who have received good trainings from her parent especially during her college years.

She was a Bachelor of Science in Economics cum laude in Georgetown University who earned this through financing her needs in college. Her mother paid for her tuition though while she earned for her other expenses. Nonetheless, this sort of training and the lack of spoon-feeding formed her into a classy, intelligent lady who is worth the limelight and praise.

Again, it is not that Paris Hilton is worth comparing with this beautiful lady but it is just to give you the perspective that if Paris Hilton, with the aid of those people regularly surrounding her, helped herself to become a respectable woman then she could have turned the spotlight to herself with the exception of focusing on the wrong pages of her life. But again, she did not exert the effort to do that and she never bothered to make herself into a decent lady. Instead, she contented herself on being a table-dancing, porn star, doubtful reality show host alongside with her being the heiress of the Hilton Hotels.

We can all say that she is fake and many would bring the war on us that she is as real as the person sitting next to you. She is flawed and to justify this, she almost always never fails to bring herself into the public eye with all her misconducts. But to her credit, she claims that she is not bright and gives no contest on that.

Like all human, she has her shares of imperfections and we just have to take her for that.
